Servicing & Repairs
Here at Hollin Applications we have carried out countless repairs on all types of linear actuators, faults come in all forms but we stock all types of gearing, a range of motors, brake kits, sealing kits and screws for a quick turn around. If we believe the cost of the repair is going to become too expensive (half the cost of a new unit) we will contact and advice you in advance to see how you wish to proceed with the repair.

All actuators will receive a full inspection for any potential faults, old grease and lubricants will be removed and replaced. Once the actuator has been reconditioned the unit will be placed on our test jig to ensure the intended max load and duty cycle.
Identification process
Thomson have identification part numbers added to each of the units which relate to the type of motor, gearing and length of the unit. Depending on the age of the model the part numbers can be found in different locations and can either be stamped into the actuator itself or be on a printed label.
